District Improvements for the Memphis ISD in Memphis, Texas

Three separate building structures:

  • A one-story, 1,800 square foot Concessions/Restroom building at the Football Stadium.
  • A one-story, 1,100 square foot Administration addition to Travis Elementary School.
  • A one-story, 3,500 square foot Lobby/Office addition to the High School.

The superstructure on these buildings is structural steel supported by a combination of
load bearing masonry and structural steel columns. The foundations are reinforced concrete
grade beams and piers with a first floor slab on grade.

Steinberger Manufacturing in Windthorst, Texas

A two-story, 23,500 square foot Manufacturing/Office building. The superstructure is comprised of Pre-Engineerd Metal Building roof structure with a concrete-on-bar-joist second floor office mezzanine. The foundations are reinforced concrete footings with a first floor slab on grade.

St. Pauls Square Senior Living at Adriatica in McKinney, Texas

A five-story 250,000 square foot Senior Apartment building over ground level parking. The superstructure is comprised of four levels of wood framed apartments supported by a cast-in-place, post-tensioned concrete podium on concrete columns. The foundations are reinforced concrete grade beams
and piers with ground level parking slab on grade.

Extensive experience with FEMA Windstorm Safe Rooms including two cast-in-place concrete dome Community Shelters designed for the Quanah ISD in Quanah, Texas.

R. Trent Perkins, originally from Wichita Falls, Texas, earned his B.S.in Civil Engineering from
Texas A&M University in 1992 and then graduated with his M.S. in Structural Engineering
from Stanford University in 1994. Trent now lives and works in Rockwall, Texas with his
beautiful wife, Amy, and their six amazing kids.
